Job profile

  1. Identify and engage potential customers to generate new sales opportunities and expand the client base.
  2. Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  3. Consistently meet and exceed sales targets, contributing directly to the company’s revenue growth.
  4. Ensure timely follow-up on outstanding payments, maintaining healthy debtor accounts.
  5. Manage end-to-end sales operations including order processing, invoice generation, delivery coordination, and payment collection.
  6. Gather and analyze customer and market insights to support strategic decision-making.
  7. Address customer inquiries with tailored solutions, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and service quality.
  8. Maintain accurate sales records and prepare insightful reports for management.

Candidate profile

Should be:

  1. A friendly personality, having excellent verbal communication skills in English & Sinhala (ability to communicate in Tamil language would be an added advantage).
  2. Passionate about work, and be willing to work beyond standard working hours.
  3. Honest, reliable and loyal – team player and a positive thinker – in the age group of 25 to 35 years.

Candidate should be able to:

  1. Multitask (efficiently work on number of activities simultaneously).
  2. Work under pressure and support the department achieve targets and meet stringent deadlines.
  3. Carry out work in an extremely methodical and organized manner.
  4. Follow-up with customers with perseverance and patience.
  5. Negotiate, persuade and convince others.

Education and qualifications

  1. Passed GCE advanced level or passed GCE ordinary level with credit passes for mathematics & English.
  2. Certificate /diploma in sales and marketing would be an added advantage.
  3. Sound knowledge in MS office packages (PowerPoint, Excel and Word), email.
  4. A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets is preferred.

Preference will be given to candidates residing in Colombo or its suburbs.
