Senior Software Engineer – Mobile (Android / iOS)

CBC Tech Solutions Limited, a fully owned subsidiary IT Company of Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC has the following opportunity for dynamic, energetic young candidates.

We are searching for an energetic individual with a strong engineering background to develop scalable consumer-facing mobile applications and integrate them with web services. The person should take ownership of the entire Software Development lifecycle of mobile applications and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and design new features. Furthermore, ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications, constantly learning about new technologies to improve development efficiency.

Job Profile

• Design, Plan and implement reliable and high-performance applications.
• Ability to handle multiple projects in parallel.
• Set a benchmark in productivity, quality, and delivery of quality software meeting all criteria.
• Research and deploy new and emerging technology and is responsible for maintaining a high level of expertise in all areas of technology thus used.
• Ability to make use of this knowledge to constantly build the skills of other team members.
• Keep the Management team up to date on development and project progress.

Applicant’s Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• A minimum of 4 years of work experience at the industry level.
• High Proficiency and hands-on experience in iOS/ Android.
• Willingness to learn different programming paradigms, languages, and technologies as of the requirement.
• Knowledge of the latest frameworks like Rx, Dagger, Realm, and Hands-on experience in Backend development and Test Automation will be added value.
• Hands-on experience with Kotlin, Flutter and React Native will be added advantage.
