Senior Accounts Executive

Anura Trading Lanka (Pvt) Ltd is the leading wholesale distributor for automobile spare parts in Colombo. We are looking for talented and energetic individuals to fill the above vacancy.

Qualification & requirements

1. Preferred age range: 18-35 years.
2. Partly qualified in chartered accountancy or possess a diploma in accounting.
3. The ideal candidate must be a strong team player. Knowledge of SAP will be considered an added advantage.
4. Minimum of one year of experience in the relevant field or a minimum of two years of experience in a reputed audit firm.
5. Applicants from Colombo and the suburbs are preferred.

Key responsibilities

1. Maintain books of accounts, including journals, ledgers, and vouchers.
2. Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and reconciliations.
3. Perform bank, debtor, and creditor reconciliations.
4. Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
5. Assist in internal and external audit processes.
6. Maintain inventory and fixed asset records.
7. Ensure proper documentation and systematic filing of financial records.
8. Coordinate with internal departments to obtain financial information.
9. Carry out any other duties assigned by the accountant or finance department.
