CAD executive | pattern maker

About the company

We are a well-established group of companies engaged in the apparel export trade, employing over 1,500 people across ten factories island-wide.

We are currently looking for dynamic, results-oriented, and self-motivated individuals to fill two vacant positions at one of our major factories located in Bibile, Monaragala. This state-of-the-art facility utilizes over 400 machines and produces an output exceeding 400,000 pieces per month.

Responsibilities

1. Take full and independent responsibility for the factory’s CAD operations, pattern making, grading, and marker making.
2. Utilize the Tuka Tech System efficiently to optimize fabric consumption and ensure precise pattern development.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve pattern, fit, or grading issues independently to meet strict export quality standards.
4. Collaborate closely with production and sampling teams to ensure smooth and timely transitions from design to bulk manufacturing.

Requirements

1. Experience: A minimum of three (03) years of hands-on experience using the Tuka Tech System in a similar capacity within the apparel export industry.
2. Skills: Ability to handle all duties and responsibilities completely independently under tight production deadlines.
3. Age: Should be less than 45 years of age.
