Senior Accountant (Australian BPO)

As a Senior Accountant you will play a crucial role in our team, providing expert financial guidance and ensuring compliance with Australian & New Zealand tax regulations.

Responsibilities

1. Strong knowledge in preparation of financial statements and tax returns for Australian clients.
2. Handling timesheet monitoring, client billing, collections, and margin analysis.
3. Attending monthly management meeting, managing a team and participating in decision making process.
4. Business partnering with the company to support growth and scalability including client onboarding & management.
5. Managing the local team to ensure timely project delivery and deadline achievement.
6. Attend networking sessions to support marketing initiatives to promote the business.

Requirements

1. Degree holder in accounting/finance or part/full qualified CA / ACCA / CIMA.
2. 2+ years’ experience in an Australian BPO / accounting practice / reputed local audit firm.
3. Eager to learn, grow, and take ownership.
4. Strong analytical skills along with excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
5. Proficiency in XERO, MYOB, NetSuite and QuickBooks will be an added advantage.
6. Age below 30
