Inventory Assistant

About the company

We are a leading manufacturer, exporter, importer & supplier of premium quality veterinary & feed products to the livestock industry of Sri Lanka and to the international market, and are looking for energetic, ambitious & self-motivated candidate to be a part of energetic Farmchemie team.

Key responsibilities

  1. Closely monitor company stock levels on a daily basis.
  2. Maintain and control re-order levels to avoid stock shortages or overstocking.
  3. Prepare and place purchase orders based on approved re-order quantities.
  4. Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments for timely material availability.
  5. Maintain accurate inventory records in the system.
  6. Prepare customer-wise stock statements and inventory reports as required.
  7. Support monthly stock reconciliation and physical stock verification.
  8. Ensure proper documentation for GRN, GIN, and inventory movements.

Qualifications & skills

  1. G.C.E. A/L or equivalent qualification.
  2. Certificate/diploma in inventory management, supply chain, or logistics will be an added advantage.
  3. Minimum 1–2 years of experience in inventory control or stock management.
  4. Good knowledge of MS Excel (stock statements, reports).
  5. Experience with ERP systems (SAP knowledge is an advantage).
  6. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  7. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Proximity to Homagama will be considered an added advantage.
