Production manager

Key responsibilities

1. Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily production activities.
2. Manage manufacturing operations for custom furniture and interior fit-out projects.
3. Ensure production targets and project deadlines are achieved.
4. Coordinate with design, procurement, stores, and project teams.
5. Monitor product quality and implement quality control procedures.
6. Optimize material usage and minimize wastage.
7. Supervise production staff and improve productivity.
8. Ensure proper maintenance of machinery and equipment.
9. Maintain workplace safety standards and operational efficiency.
10. Prepare production reports and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

1. Degree/diploma in production management, manufacturing, engineering, wood technology, or a related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in furniture manufacturing, joinery, or interior fit-out production.
3. Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
4. Knowledge of woodworking machinery and production processes.
5. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
6. Proficiency in MS office and production planning.
