Cost Controller

We are inviting applications for a dynamic Cost Controller to join our corporate finance team and drive cost and financial control initiatives across our distinctive portfolio of scenic destinations in Sri Lanka.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct monthly, weekly, and spot-check inventories of all locations.
- Analyse F&B, operational, and procurement costs and preparing daily/monthly reports.
- Collaborate with chefs to establish accurate, up-to-date food and beverage recipe costings.
- Review purchase orders, receiving reports, and supplier invoices to verify accuracy.
- Implement and enforce controls over purchasing, storage, issuing, and waste management.
- Support the finance team by providing accurate cost data for budgeting and forecasting.
Entry requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or hospitality management is strongly preferred.
- 3-5 years of cost control experience, with experience in the hospitality.
- Proficiency in property management systems and point-of-sale systems.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- A solid understanding of hotel operations will be a definite advantage.
- Solid understanding of F&B operations, procurement, and inventory control.
