Cost Controller

Requirements

1. Completed Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT), Part Qualified Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), or any other accounting qualification
2. Minimum 2+ years of experience in a cost controller role or a similar position
3. Undergraduate students pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field are encouraged to apply
4. Good computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Excel
5. Strong analytical and numerical skills
6. Good communication and interpersonal skills
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
8. Positive attitude and willingness to learn
9. Experience in printing and paper cost controlling will be considered an added advantage

Key responsibilities

1. Monitor and control company costs and expenditures
2. Prepare cost reports and assist management with financial analysis
3. Analyze production and operational costs to improve efficiency
4. Maintain accurate costing records and documentation
5. Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
6. Coordinate with different departments regarding cost-related matters
7. Identify cost-saving opportunities and support implementation
8. Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures
9. Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities
10. Perform other finance and accounting-related duties assigned by management
