Junior Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented junior mechanical engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of mechanical systems, enclosures and components. This role is well-suited for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to build hands-on engineering experience in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

  1. Assist in designing mechanical enclosures, components, assemblies, and systems using CAD software.
  2. Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.
  3. Support product development, prototyping, and testing activities.
  4. Conduct engineering calculations and performance analysis.
  5. Collaborate with senior engineers, production teams, and quality departments.
  6. Participate in troubleshooting mechanical issues and proposing solutions.
  7. Ensure designs comply with safety, quality, and industry standards.
  8. Assist with project planning, reporting, and progress tracking.
  9. Support continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing and engineering processes.

Required qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  2. 0–2 years of experience in mechanical engineering projects, internships, or product development environments.
  3. Basic understanding of mechanical systems, materials, manufacturing processes, and product assembly techniques.
  4. Familiarity with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks for mechanical component and assembly design.
  5. Understanding of engineering drawings, tolerancing, and GD&T principles.
  6. Exposure to mechanical integration of electronic assemblies and structural components is an advantage.
  7. Basic knowledge of heat dissipation methods, airflow concepts, and thermal considerations in product design is preferred.
  8. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  9. Good communication, documentation, and teamwork abilities.

Preferred qualifications

  1. Internship or project experience.
  2. Knowledge of simulation or analysis tools (ANSYS, MATLAB, etc.).
  3. Exposure to quality standards and maintenance practices.
  4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
