AutoCAD draughtsman

About the company

We are a public listed company engaged in telecommunication, electrical, water & civil engineering projects in Sri Lanka, for nearly four decades. We require AutoCAD draughtsmen for our telecom regional offices at Maharagama & Kalutara.

Job profile

1. Interpret project briefs & specifications from engineers to technical drawings.
2. Ensure drawings are completed with client specifications & other standard requirements.
3. Communicate potential design issues with engineers on a timely manner.
4. Research on updates of software & knowledge on other similar software.

Educational qualifications

1. Proficiency in AutoCAD & other drafting software.

Work experience

1. Minimum 1 year working experience in similar role is preferred but not essential.
2. Experience in telecom related drawings & familiarity in QGIS software will be added advantage.

Skills & competencies

1. Strong attention to details & accuracy.
2. Ability to work independently & meet deadlines.
3. Strong analytical skill.
4. Ability to work under pressure.

Language preferred

1. Fluency in Sinhala
2. Proficiency in English

Age below 35 years are preferred.
