Executive – Product Development

Job responsibilities

1. Lead the bank’s new product development (NPD) and review process, ensuring alignment with market needs and regulatory frameworks.
2. Prepare comprehensive product papers for management and ensure smooth approval processes.
3. Continuously review the bank’s product portfolio to maintain competitiveness.
4. Create product performance dashboards, track results, and provide insights to senior management.
5. Collaborate with IT and compliance teams to ensure new products are practical, secure, and compliant.
6. Support product research initiatives to spot new trends and opportunities.
7. Partner with digital, business development and marketing teams to design and execute campaigns that drive awareness and adoption of new and existing products.

Experience & qualifications

1. Minimum 3-4 years of banking experience with exposure to branch banking, operations, or marketing.
2. Full or part qualification in banking or marketing from a recognized institution.
3. Prior exposure in product development will be an added advantage.
4. An innovation-driven, creative mindset with the ability to think beyond routine.
5. Proficiency in computer literacy.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
