Accountant

Responsibilities

1. Responsibility over accurate calculations and completeness of revenue accounting.
2. Execute monthly closure process by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
3. Preparation of financial statements per deadlines.
4. Preparation of data analysis reports for management.
5. Ensure compliance with tax regulations – VAT, income tax etc.
6. Assist in internal and external audits.

Requirements

1. Member of CA Sri Lanka or ACCA. Accounting/finance/commerce degree from reputed university is added advantage.
2. Minimum 2 years’ post qualification experience in similar capacity with audit experience of 3 years.
3. Work experience in a financial institution is added advantage.
4. Excellent in MS Excel functionalities and experience in Sage accounting package is preferred.
