Operations Manager – Audit | Tax & Advisory Services

We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven, and detail-oriented operations manager audit & assurance manager to expand the reach of our Colombo office. He/she will be tasked with overall responsibility for expanding the footprint of our Colombo office and to establish and grow the client base.

Key responsibilities

1. Develop and expand the Colombo office operations in line with the company’s strategic objectives identifying new growth and client acquisition opportunities.
2. Will be the main point of contact for clients and to coordinate the tasks with our in-house team of tax, audit and finance professional.
3. Plan, manage, and execute audit and assurance engagements across a diverse client portfolio.
4. Review financial statements and ensure compliance with applicable accounting, auditing, and regulatory standards.
5. Conduct risk assessments and provide practical recommendations on internal controls and process improvements.
6. Build and maintain strong client relationships while providing professional advisory and assurance support.
7. Ensure timely completion of engagements in accordance with established SLA’s while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and quality.

Requirements

1. Fully qualified in CA, ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent professional qualifications supported by a degree.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in audit, tax, accounting and assurance functions, preferably within a professional services environment.
3. Strong knowledge of accounting standards, auditing procedures, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
4. Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
5. Strong business development and client relationship management skills.
6. Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work independently and contribute strategically to organizational growth.
