Customer Service Executive

We are seeking a customer-focused and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Customer Service Executive. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction while promoting the company’s products and services.

Key responsibilities

  1. Handle incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels in a professional and timely manner.
  2. Provide accurate information about products, services, and company policies.
  3. Resolve customer complaints and issues effectively and escalate complex matters when necessary.
  4. Maintain customer records and update information in the system.
  5. Follow up with customers to ensure issue resolution and customer satisfaction.
  6. Identify customer needs and suggest suitable solutions.
  7. Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless customer service.
  8. Achieve individual and team targets related to customer satisfaction.
  9. Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude at all times.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

  1. G.C.E. A/L qualification or equivalent.
  2. Minimum 1–2 years of experience in customer service or a similar role.
  3. Excellent communication skills in Sinhala and English (Tamil is an advantage).
  4. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  5. Ability to handle difficult situations and work under pressure.
  6. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and basic computer skills.
  7. Experience in using CRM or helpdesk systems will be an added advantage.
  8. A positive attitude and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  9. Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and public holidays if required.
