Restaurant Manager

We are looking for a restaurant manager.

Responsibilities

  1. Manage and oversee the entire restaurant operations;
  2. Deliver superior guest experiences, whilst ensuring excellent standards of service are maintained and ensuring guest satisfaction;
  3. Plan new and update existing menus and prepare the food costing per menu;
  4. Participate at local food events;
  5. Organize and supervise shifts;
  6. Manage and lead employees;
  7. Give training to your employees and evaluate their performance regularly;
  8. Hold regular stock takes;
  9. Manage the restaurant supplies;
  10. Exercise control over the costs and minimize wastage;
  11. Implement innovative strategies to improve productivity and sales.

Requirements

  1. 3 years experience as a restaurant manager and experience in customer service management;
  2. A diploma or degree in restaurant- or hospitality management or a holder of a similar qualification;
  3. Have experience in event planning;
  4. Extensive food and wine knowledge;
  5. Able to work long hours and overtime when necessary;
  6. Computer literate i.e. experienced at using MS Office suite and POS systems;
  7. Have sound financial management skills;
  8. Be a critical thinker and excellent problem-solving skills;
  9. Be an excellent team player;
  10. Be able to work under pressure.

An attractive salary will be given along with service charges.
