Trainee Coordinator
Reporting directly to the Manager – Programme and Grants, the selected candidate will be trained in Project Management/ Coordination, Monitoring and Evaluation and Organizational Development.
The initial 6 months training programme can lead to a permanent position in the company.
He/she will also contribute to SIPL’s mission of strengthening Civil Society Organizations in their endeavours of addressing the social issues and development needs of the country and enhancing SIPL’s efforts towards learning, reflection and internal capacity development.
Requirements
- An undergraduate in the Social Sciences, Political or Legal field
- Fluency in spoken and written English and one local language (Sinhala or Tamil) is essential
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team under tight deadlines is highly desirable
