Lighting Designer

Key responsibilities

1. Design and implement lighting setups for events, ensuring alignment with themes, stage requirements, and client expectations.
2. Install, operate, and manage lighting equipment during events, including consoles, fixtures, and control systems.
3. Coordinate with event planners, production teams, and technical staff to ensure smooth execution of lighting designs.
4. Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure all lighting systems function efficiently during events.
5. Maintain, store, and regularly inspect lighting equipment to ensure safety and operational readiness.

Key requirements

1. Diploma or certification in event technology, or a related field.
2. Minimum 1-3 years of experience in event lighting, stage production, or a similar role.
3. Hands-on experience with lighting consoles, DMX systems, and stage lighting equipment.
4. Strong technical troubleshooting skills and understanding of electrical safety standards.
5. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, with good teamwork and communication skills.
