About the company
American Premium Water, the pioneer and market leader in Sri Lanka’s bottled water industry, is looking for a passionate and driven individual to join the team immediately as Assistant Manager – Distribution. With a workforce of over 1,200 and a growing presence in both Sri Lanka and India, the company also has operations in Logistics, Construction, and Polymer Packaging.
Responsibilities
- Handle route planning and cost optimization
- Oversee daily distribution and logistics operations
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to customers and outlets
- Manage and coordinate with transporters, warehouse teams, and distributors
- Monitor inventory movement and maintain optimal stock levels
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Analyze distribution performance and implement improvements
- Resolve operational issues and customer complaints effectively
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in distribution or logistics, preferably in the food & beverages industry
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
