Job profile

1. Prepare bills of quantities (BOQ) and take off measurements
2. Estimate costs for materials, labour, and equipment
3. Evaluate and monitor project costs to ensure work within budget
4. Prepare and analyze cost breakdowns and progress reports
5. Maintain accurate records of site progress and variations
6. Certify subcontractor, supplier, and labor payments
7. Work closely with project managers and site engineers to manage financial aspects of projects

Qualifications & experience

1. Diploma / NVQ level 5+ in quantity surveying or related field
2. More than 5 years’ experience as a quantity surveyor (construction field preferred)
3. Strong knowledge of construction costs and contracts
4. Good knowledge of MS Excel, AutoCAD and QS software
5. Age below 35
6. Good analytical & problem solving skills
7. Strong negotiation and communication skills
8. Ability to work independently and in a team
9. Valid driving license will be an added advantage
