Manager – Production

Sunquick Lanka, a leading FMCG manufacturer and a great place to work, is looking for a dynamic and results-driven candidate for the post of manager – production to join our team.

Key responsibilities

1. Lead and manage end-to-end production operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety.
2. Drive continuous improvement initiatives viz lean manufacturing, waste reduction, cost optimization.
3. Ensure compliance with food safety standards (ISO, HACCP, GMP).
4. Plan and optimize production schedules to meet demand and delivery timelines.
5. Monitor KPIs (productivity, yield, downtime, quality metrics) and drive performance improvements.
6. Lead, coach, and develop production teams to build a high-performance culture.
7. Collaborate with supply chain, QA, engineering, and maintenance teams.

Candidate profile

1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering / food science / manufacturing or related field.
2. Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
3. Strong knowledge of food manufacturing processes and quality standards.
4. Proven leadership and people management skills.
5. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
6. Experience in ERP systems and production planning tools is an advantage.
