Responsibilities

1. Review the line loading plan and identify new and repeat styles at the relevant production modules.
2. Re-check and confirm thread consumption for all planned styles.
3. Attend PP meeting to communicate thread consumption, SMV changes and pre-setting requirements.
4. Monitor line performance against calculated SMVs and implement re-balancing strategies to optimize output.
5. Enhance handling methods and workplace arrangements to increase efficiency and productivity.
6. Ensure smooth and efficient style changeover process and lead the team to meet set targets during transition.

What you need to have

1. Should have a bachelor’s degree, higher diploma or equivalent professional qualification.
2. At least 4 years of managerial experience in a plant with over 400 machine operators.
3. A total of 10 years’ experience in SMV improvement, line balancing, operation optimization, skill inventory management and skill development.
4. Proficiency in methods, operation sequence improvements, handling improvements, and quick changeover processes.
5. Valid GSD license.
6. Dynamic team player with attention to detail, a caring attitude towards people & a passion for innovation.
7. Participation in JASTECA – AOTS programs is desirable.
8. Project management professional education combined with lean management certification is preferred.
