They seek for a highly experienced and strategic professional to lead fertilizer sales and marketing function in the capacity of assistant general manager – sales & marketing (fertilizer).
What you will lead
- Develop and execute overall sales and marketing strategies for the fertilizer business.
- Lead and manage regional sales teams to achieve revenue and volume targets.
- Drive market penetration and expand distribution networks island wide.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders including distributors, dealers, and large-scale farmers.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and pricing to guide business decisions.
- Plan and implement marketing campaigns, field promotions, and agronomy-based initiatives.
- Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking.
- Ensure alignment between sales, marketing, supply chain, and operations.
- Mentor and develop the sales team to build leadership pipeline.
What you will bring
- Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, agriculture, agribusiness, or a related field (master’s degree is an advantage).
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in sales leadership role.
- Strong understanding of the agriculture sector and crop nutrition.
- Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
