Finance manager

Are you an experienced finance professional ready to lead the financial strategy of a growing apparel manufacturing business? Colombo Design House (Pvt) Ltd., based in Malabe, is looking for a Finance manager to oversee all financial operations, ensure compliance, and support strategic decision-making.

Key responsibilities

1. Lead the finance department and oversee all accounting, budgeting, and reporting functions.
2. Develop and implement financial strategies to support company growth and profitability.
3. Manage cash flow, working capital, and investment planning.
4. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
5. Oversee statutory compliance including tax, EPF/ETF, and other regulatory requirements.
6. Coordinate with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders.
7. Monitor cost control measures and support operational efficiency.
8. Provide strategic insights to management for business expansion and risk management.
9. Lead, guide, and develop the finance team to achieve departmental goals.

Requirements

Education:

1. Chartered accountant (CA Sri Lanka) or equivalent professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA).
2. Degree in finance/accounting/business management will be an added advantage.

Experience:

1. Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
2. Experience in the garment manufacturing or apparel export sector will be a strong advantage.

2. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
3. In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, standards, and best practices.
4. High level of integrity and professionalism.
5. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
6. Must be able to work from Malabe location.
