Key responsibilities

1. Assist in the preparation of product costing, including standard costing, and conduct margin, consumption, and variance analysis for management reporting.
2. Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and related schedules for factory operations.
3. Carry out inventory analysis and controls, including monitoring material usage, stock movements, and reconciliation with system records.
4. Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, including variance analysis against budgets.
5. Assist in preparation of investment appraisals and feasibility studies (e.g., NPV, IRR, payback period, and new product costing).
6. Monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions on a timely basis.
7. Coordinate with internal and external auditors and assist during annual and interim audits.
8. Support SAP/ERP-related finance processes, including data accuracy, postings, and report generation.
9. Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required by management.
10. Undertake any other duties assigned by the management accountant or management.

Qualifications & requirements

1. Candidate should be partly qualified in CA/CIMA/ACCA with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the manufacturing or construction sector. Holding an accounting or similar degree in a recognized university will be an added advantage.
2. Team player with strong communication skills and interpersonal skills.
3. Proficient in IT, those who have worked with SAP ERP system would be a definite advantage.
4. Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
5. Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
6. Age below 28 years of age.
