About the role
The area sales manager will be responsible for driving sales performance, expanding market coverage, strengthening distributor networks, and ensuring sustainable business growth within the assigned territory.
Key responsibilities & competencies
- Demonstrated leadership ability to manage, guide, and motivate a sales team.
- Strong capability in developing and maintaining effective customer relationships within the territory.
- Proven experience in appointing, managing, and developing distributors to achieve sales growth.
- Execution of trade and consumer marketing initiatives to drive market penetration.
- Prior experience in a similar role within a reputed FMCG organization will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- High level of computer literacy and reporting capability.
Candidate profile
- Age 28 years and above
- G.C.E. Advanced level (A/L)
- Professional qualifications in marketing will be an added advantage
