Assistant Service Manager – Motor Bikes

Singer (Sri Lanka) PLC operates with the vision to be the market leader in elevating and enriching lives. We are seeking a proactive and technically strong assistant service manager – motor bikes to support and strengthen island-wide after-sales operations for Lima, TAILG, and Safari motorbike brands. This role plays a key part in developing service infrastructure, managing service networks, and ensuring consistent service quality across authorized dealers and workshops.

Job profile

1. Support and develop island-wide authorized service centers and dealer workshops for motorbike brands.
2. Coordinate after-sales service operations, monitoring service turnaround time, efficiency, and warranty claims.
3. Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support for mechanical and electrical issues, including ICE and EV systems.
4. Manage escalated customer complaints to ensure timely resolution and high customer satisfaction.
5. Organize and conduct technical training programs for service technicians and dealer staff.
6. Monitor service KPIs and prepare periodic performance and service reports for management.

Personal profile

1. Degree or diploma in automobile, mechanical, electrical engineering, or a related technical discipline.
2. 3–6 years’ experience in motorbike or automotive service operations or after-sales service environments.
3. Strong technical knowledge of motorbike systems, including ICE and electric vehicle technologies.
4. Proven ability in service operations management, dealer/service network coordination, and complaint handling.
5. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills with attention to service quality and compliance.
6. Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills with a hands-on approach.
