Accounts Assistant

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Assistant to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining accounting records and books of accounts
- Prepare invoices, vouchers, and payment documents
- Handle petty cash and bank reconciliations
- Support monthly and year-end financial reporting
- Maintain proper filing of financial documents
- Assist with audits and other accounting-related tasks as required
Qualifications
- Diploma or qualification in accounting / finance (partly or fully completed)
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Candidates living in Ragama or within a reasonable commuting distance will have an added advantage
