Safety officer

Job profile

1. Conduct regular site safety inspections and audits
2. Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures
3. Conduct safety training sessions for workers
4. Maintain and update all HSE records and documentation
5. Investigate and report on accidents and incidents
6. Promote safety awareness and best practices on site
7. Conduct safety toolbox talks and daily briefings
8. Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment

Qualifications & experience

1. Diploma or NVQ level 4 or higher in occupational health & safety or related field
2. Minimum 2 years’ experience as safety officer at construction sites
3. Male candidate preferred
4. Age below 40 (preferably)
5. Complete knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices
6. Ability to conduct safety trainings and present toolbox talks
7. Good communication and leadership skills
8. Valid driving license will be an added advantage
