Deputy Head of Finance

The ‘Deputy head of finance’ supports the head of department in managing, preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing financial reporting / accounts and providing analytic insights to support financial decision-making.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
2. Fully or partially completed professional qualifications in CA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent (CA up to strategic level is essential)
3. Over 5+ years of professional experience is compulsory
4. Solid knowledge in accounting related functions
5. Prior work experience in the financial services is an advantage

Key responsibilities

1. Financial statements preparation and financial reporting
2. Lead preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
3. Conduct variance analysis to identify deviations and recommend corrective actions.
4. Implement audit recommendations to strengthen internal controls.
5. Support management in financial planning and resource allocation.
6. Supervise finance staff, providing guidance and professional development.
