Financial Controller

We are seeking an accounts and investment developer and assistant to the company with strong financial controlling experience and a creative mindset in finance and investments. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of stocks, shares, bonds, treasury bills, and other financial instruments, including foreign markets, and the ability to leverage relationships with banks and other financial institutions to optimize investments and returns while managing and tracking company investments and invested companies.

Key responsibilities

1. Oversee and assist accounting operations and financial reporting carried out by the senior accounting team.
2. Oversee the preparing of management accounts, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
3. Assist to maintain financial controls and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
4. Liaise with auditors, banks, and tax consultants.
5. Provide financial analysis in depth and reporting to management.
6. Evaluate investment opportunities and advise on financial strategies.
7. Work creatively to leverage financial instruments and banking relationships.

Requirements

1. CA / ACCA / CIMA – fully or part qualified.
2. 5–8 years’ experience in accounting / finance with exposure to financial markets and instruments.
3. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and investment management.
4. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and accounting systems.
5. Strong capability in leveraging AI tools and technologies for financial analysis, forecasting, data driven decision-making, and optimization of financial performance.
6. Ability to integrate AI-driven insights into reporting, investment strategies, and operational efficiency.
7. Creative and analytical mindset with the ability to optimize investments and strategically leverage banking and financial institutions.
