Finance Manager

We are seeking a high-caliber finance manager with strong leadership capabilities and a resilient mindset to manage our financial operations.

Requirements

1. Fully or partially qualified in CIMA, ACCA, or CA Sri Lanka.
2. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
3. Exceptional communication skills, both written and spoken.
4. In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and taxation laws.
5. High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
6. Must be a team player with the ability to resist pressure and meet deadlines consistently.
7. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a service or software environment.

Key responsibilities

1. Financial management & reporting: Oversee daily financial operations, including the preparation of annual financial statements and monthly management reports for the senior management.
2. Tax & compliance: Act as the company’s primary representative to the Inland Revenue Department (IRD) and ensure strict statutory compliance with all tax and government regulations.
3. Financial operations & negotiation: Handle payments, negotiate financial terms with partners, and maintain rigorous follow-up processes to ensure financial health.
4. Audit & external relations: Coordinate year-end audits and maintain effective relationships with external auditors, the company secretary, and banking partners.
5. Treasury & cash management: Manage accounts payable and receivable, handle banking facilities, and oversee bank reconciliations and merchant deposit monitoring.
6. Leadership & guidance: Supervise, appraise, and guide team members, ensuring effective delegation and the achievement of operational KPIs.
