Business development – manager (overseas marketing)

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven business development manager (intimate apparel) to expand our client portfolio, strengthen global partnerships, and drive revenue growth in the intimate cluster. This role requires a blend of strategic sales skills, market knowledge, and relationship management to ensure long-term business success.

Key responsibilities

  1. Market expansion: Identify and develop new business opportunities in international markets for intimate apparel.
  2. Client relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, brands, and key stakeholders in the intimate apparel industry.
  3. Sales & negotiation: Lead negotiations on pricing, order volumes, and long-term contracts to achieve revenue targets.
  4. Market research: Analyze global fashion trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities to position our products effectively.
  5. Collaboration: Work closely with the product development and production teams to align client requirements with product capabilities.
  6. Brand promotion: Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and buyer meetings to promote intimate apparel products.
  7. Strategic planning: Develop sales strategies and business plans to increase market share and profitability.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 – 8 years of experience in apparel business development, with at least 3 years in intimate apparel.
  3. Proven track record in international client development, order generation, and revenue growth.
  4. Strong understanding of intimate apparel market dynamics, fabrics, trims, and consumer demands.
  5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  6. Ability to work under pressure and achieve ambitious sales targets.
