Senior Executive – Quality Assurance

We are seeking a quality-driven professional with a passion for maintaining the highest standards in manufacturing excellence to join our team as a Senior Executive – Quality Assurance. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring product quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across our operations.

Job profile

1. Lead and coordinate ISO 22000:2018 and Sri Lanka Standards Institution audits, ensuring full compliance and zero major non-conformities.
2. Lead the HACCP team in maintaining and continuously improving the Food Safety Management System (FSMS), including hazard analysis and critical control monitoring.
3. Oversee the preparation and maintenance of all quality documentation, including manuals, SOPs, and records to ensure regulatory and food safety compliance.
4. Conduct supplier audits to ensure all raw materials, including ingredients and diluents, consistently meet company quality and food safety standards.
5. Lead investigations into quality issues and customer complaints, implementing effective CAPA to prevent recurrence.
6. Supervise in-process quality control, ensuring key production parameters such as temperature, hygiene, and mixing ratios meet defined product specifications.

Candidate profile

1. Degree or professional qualification in Food Science, Quality Management, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.
2. Minimum 4 to 7 years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
3. Sound knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO standards, and quality assurance procedures.
4. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
5. Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
6. Ability to work independently and manage quality systems effectively.
7. High attention to detail with a proactive approach to quality improvement.
