Accountant assistant (Galle)

About the company

Happy cook Lanka food (Pvt) Ltd is looking for an energetic, hardworking result-oriented candidate to fill the below vacancy immediately at our factory located in Galle.

Responsibilities

1. Liaise with banks, auditors, secretaries, tax consultants and other authorities.
2. Monitoring and maintaining records of cash flow, supplier bill payment, petty cash and general ledger accounts to ensure adequate liquidity for operations.
3. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
4. Ensure to provide accurate information and reports to the management.

Requirements

1. Part qualified in AAT/ACCA and preferably a diploma in accounting/finance.
2. Minimum 2 years working experience in finance.
3. Knowledge in accounting & financial principles, regulatory requirements etc.
4. Computer literacy in accounting packages and also MS Office.
5. Excellent communication skills.
6. Ability to meet deadlines, take challenges and strictly follow instructions.
7. Must be a keen and quick learner – ability to work independently in an unsupervised environment.
