About the company

Cocopel Lanka (Pvt) Ltd is a BOI company, have over 10 years of experience in producing high quality treated coir fiber pith for the overseas market and local market. We are seeking an experienced accountant to join our team.

Key responsibilities

1. Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
2. Review and analyze financial transactions, including sales, purchases, and expenses
3. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations
4. Collaborate with the management team to prepare budgets and forecasts
5. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.

Requirements

1. 2-3 years of experience in accounting. Prior experience in BOI company will be an added advantage.
2. Partially qualified in CA (Chartered Accountant) with a strong desire to follow the CA pathway
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, laws, and regulations
4. Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office
5. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
7. Preference will be given for the candidates residing in close proximity to office – (Embilipitiya, Padalangala, Rathnapura, Sooriyawewa, Thangalle , Mathara )
8. Age 35 or below (female).
