Executive Internal Audit

The fast growing non-banking financial institution in Sri Lanka invites applications from dynamic and result oriented individuals with relevant qualifications and experience for the following position.

Job profile

1. Assist to head of internal audit to complete the risk – based annual internal audit plan which is approved by board audit committee (BAC).
2. Regularly visit the branches and ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the branch operations.
3. Obtain, analyze and evaluate the evidence for validate the audit observations.
4. Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings.
5. Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement.
6. Conduct follow up audits to monitor management’s interventions.

Candidate profile

1. Part qualification in ICASL / ACCA / CIMA or full qualification of AAT with degree in accounting or management.
2. Minimum 2 years’ experience in internal audit field (Mercantile sector or audit firm).
3. Hands-on experience in MS office and in the finance field will be added advantage.
4. Strong attention to detail and good analytical skill.
5. Committed team player with good communication skills.
6. Age below 30 years.
