HR Assistant

We are looking for a self-motivated and professional HR assistant with strong communication skills in English and Sinhala. The candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of supporting HR operations, payroll, and administrative tasks while ensuring smooth day-to-day departmental functioning and adherence to company policies.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and update employee records and attendance systems to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in payroll preparation by verifying attendance, leave records, and other essential employee data for timely, error-free processing.
- Support day-to-day HR operations, including responding to employee queries, coordinating engagement activities, and handling administrative tasks.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain HR reports, documentation, and correspondence in compliance with company policies.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and other HR initiatives to ensure smooth departmental operations and a positive employee experience.
Required skills & competencies
- Age: Candidates should be below 30 and preferably male.
- Background: Applicants should possess any foundational-level HR qualification from a recognized institute.
- Experience: Candidates should be proficient in MS Office and other common IT applications, and preference will be given to those residing near Battaramulla.
