Group Head of Finance

Key responsibilities

1. Lead the Group’s overall financial strategy, planning and performance reporting.
2. Oversee consolidation and financial management of the group’s subsidiaries and associate companies.
3. Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements, SLFRS/IFRS, taxation and regulatory reporting standards.
4. Drive Group wide budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and treasury management activities.
5. Lead, mentor and develop high performing finance teams across the Group.

Requirements

1. Fully qualified chartered accountant (CA Sri Lanka or equivalent)
2. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or management from a recognized university in mandatory.
3. Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
4. A min of 10-12 years of progressive experience, with exposure to diversified business groups.
5. A min 5 years of experience in a senior finance leadership capacity.
6. Proven experience within a “big 4” audit firm is an essential prerequisite for this role.
7. Strong experience in consolidations and corporate finance transactions.
8. Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
9. Experience with ERP/financial reporting system is an added advantage.
10. Experience is data analytics for business and financial insights will be an added advantage.
