About the company

Crystal Martin Ceylon (Private) Limited is a subsidiary company of the Hong Kong based Crystal International Group Limited, having 06 apparel manufacturing facilities island wide and providing employment to 5000 employees.

This position will oversee and lead the entire production planning function, involving in handling the business capacities effectively while meeting customer expectations and working in coordination with the functional heads and manufacturing teams to ensure that the set company goals and objectives are met.

Role & responsibilities

1. Design, develop and implement action plans on achieving planned budgeted hours / efficiencies for the financial year.
2. Assist to director- business & supply chain on formulating and developing business strategies focused on company goals & objectives.
3. Focus on maximizing customer satisfaction within the company-defined parameters.
4. Responsible for capacity management of the entire CMSL factories and order management between merchandising and the operational team.
5. Responsible for monitoring and highlighting to the director – business & supply chain and the merchandising managers regarding the overload /underload situations well in advance based on forecasts.
6. Responsible for the overall planning function of the group.
7. Responsible for providing monthly and annual reports required for the management. (Sales forecast reports/planned efficiency and hours report/loading forecast)
8. Design and implement objectives in the division to fulfill the annual key performance indicators.
9. Reviewing the performance of team members and evaluating achievements against to the set KPIs.
10. Regular employee supervision and motivation.
11. Engage in employee engagement activities and CSR projects organized by the company.
12. Act as an active representative of the organization on customer visits/meetings.
13. Contributing to the company employee welfare activities.
14. Working with merchandising heads to identify the future capacity requirements.
15. Liaise with factory general managers to alert them on future product changes and capacity allocations.
16. Liaise with IT department on system training and fulfilling IT requirements of the staff.
17. Work with Fast React SL company to ensure the smooth function in FR system and to ensure the required upgrades /developments are communicated and implemented as required.
18. Work with HR department on staffing, employee movements, performance management and exit formalities of the team members.
19. Liaise with the training and development department and identify training needs of the staff.
20. Liaise with product development centre for embellishment capacity management.
21. Work with quality and fabric technical heads to manage embellishment operation-related issues.
22. Work with compliance heads on to obtain the required approvals for new embellishment suppliers.

Qualifications & experience

1. Minimum 5 years of working experience in a similar capacity in large-scale manufacturing organization.
2. Degree in any management field or certificate holder in business management.
3. Sound knowledge in the Fast React Planning System.
4. ICT literacy.
5. Independent decision-making skills.
