Key responsibilities

1. Preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts and P&L statements
2. Monitoring revenue, costs, and departmental performance
3. Handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions
4. Assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
5. Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, audits, and internal controls
6. Liaising with auditors, banks, and other external stakeholders

Requirements

1. Degree in accounting /management completed AAT or following professional qualifications in accountancy (CA, CIMA, ACCA etc)
2. Possess minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position would be an advantage
3. Possess excellent communication skills
4. Be an exceptional team worker
5. Have good leadership and interpersonal skills together with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
6. Be permanent or temporary residents within 30KM from Matara area
