Senior Business Analyst

Are you passionate about uncovering insights that drive business success? We’re looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented senior business analyst to join Ministry of Crab and play a key role in strengthening performance, strategy, and growth. This role goes beyond numbers—you’ll dive into qualitative research, market positioning, and strategic analysis to help steer high-level decisions.

Job role and responsibilities

1. Analyze restaurant performance across sales, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
2. Lead qualitative research initiatives, including market research, geographical analysis, and brand positioning.
3. Develop and present insightful dashboards, reports, and KPIs to track performance.
4. Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities and emerging threats.
5. Collaborate with leadership to shape and execute data-driven business strategies.
6. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
7. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
8. Provide insights to strengthen marketing campaigns and promotional strategies.
9. Prepare high-quality reports and presentations for the board and CEO.
10. Engage with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of insights and recommendations.
11. Stay updated on industry trends to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications and competencies required

1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, finance, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a business analyst or in a similar role.
3. Strong focus on qualitative and strategic research, not just data analysis.
4. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to create impactful reports and presentations.
5. Excellent report writing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
6. Ability to confidently present insights to senior leadership, including the CEO.
7. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
8. High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
