We are looking for a skilled Technical Officer to join our team.

Key responsibilities

1. Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
2. Monitor and troubleshoot office IT infrastructure including LAN/WAN networks, routers, switches, and firewalls.
3. Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently, minimizing downtime.
4. Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on systems to ensure optimal performance.
5. Provide technical support to staff, both remotely and on-site, ensuring timely resolution of IT-related queries.
6. Maintain inventory of IT assets and ensure proper documentation of installations, repairs, and configurations.
7. Collaborate with vendors and service providers for procurement and warranty claims.
8. Ensure data security protocols are followed and assist in backup and recovery procedures.

Qualifications

1. Diploma or higher qualification in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
2. Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in IT hardware and network support.
3. Familiarity with printer maintenance, network cabling, and basic server administration.
4. Excellent troubleshooting skills with a methodical and analytical approach.
5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
6. Good communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
