Commercial Executive

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Commercial Executive to support our expanding import operations and ensure seamless compliance with regulatory, testing, and certification requirements. This role plays a critical part in ensuring timely product clearance, cost efficiency, and adherence to local and international standards.

Job profile

1. Own and manage the end-to-end procurement, registration, renewal, and certification of all products requiring approvals from SLSI, SLAAS, and other regulatory authorities.
2. Act as the point of accountability for all regulatory testing, sample coordination, supplier engagement, and approval follow-ups.
3. Lead and control the entire regulatory operations value chain, coordinating closely with commercial, marketing, engineering, warehouse, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless execution.
4. Plan, monitor, and drive certification timelines, pre-clearance documentation, and shipment readiness to avoid commercial, supply chain, and clearance disruptions.
5. Ensure all imports and sourced products are fully compliant prior to shipment, maintaining governance, documentation, trackers, and regulatory adherence across the operation.

Personal profile

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in supply chain, engineering, commerce, or a related field. 1–2 years’ experience in a compliance, regulatory, or quality-related role will be an added advantage.
2. Sound understanding of local regulatory frameworks (SLSI, SLAAS) and compliance requirements.
3. Working knowledge of ERP systems and documentation processes.
4. Proficiency in MS Office, with strong documentation and coordination skills.
5. Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with suppliers, regulatory bodies, and internal teams.
6. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
