Senior Assistant Manager – Quality Assurance

Responsibilities

1. Oversee and manage all quality assurance activities in the production process
2. Ensure products meet required quality standards and regulatory requirements
3. Monitor and maintain hygiene, food safety, and quality systems
4. Conduct regular inspections and audits in production and storage areas
5. Handle customer complaints and take corrective actions
6. Coordinate with production, technical and other departments to improve quality
7. Ensure proper documentation and reporting of all quality-related activities
8. Train and guide staff on quality standards and procedures
9. Attend to every quality matter promptly and effectively

Qualifications

1. Diploma or degree in food science, microbiology, chemistry, biochemistry or a related field from a recognized institute.
2. Minimum 03 years of experience in a similar capacity within a food manufacturing environment.
3. Strong knowledge of quality management systems, food safety standards and regulatory requirements.
4. Good communication skills with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
5. Candidates residing in or close proximity to Kuliyapitiya are preferred.
