Senior executive – learning and development

Dankotuwa Porcelain PLC, Sri Lanka’s leading manufacturer of premium porcelain tableware, is seeking a highly competent and experienced Senior Executive – Learning & Development to spearhead the company’s talent development initiatives.

Key responsibilities

  1. Lead the learning & development function, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy.
  2. Design, implement, and evaluate training programs that enhance employee capability and performance.
  3. Partner with senior management to identify skill gaps and drive leadership development.
  4. Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth across the organization.
  5. Monitor and measure the effectiveness of L&D initiatives to ensure sustainable impact.

Candidate profile

  1. Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in learning & development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  2. Strong expertise in instructional design, leadership development, organizational learning strategies and the ability to deliver training sessions in sinhala and english.
  3. Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  4. Degree in human resource management, organizational development, or a related discipline.
  5. Postgraduate/professional qualification in HRM, OD or related discipline will be an advantage.
  6. Proven ability to inspire, mentor, and build high-performing teams.
