Shipping Assistant

The position holder will be expected to assist the Shipping Manager with operational work relevant to shipment clearance and maintenance of records to facilitate MIS reports.

Responsibilities

1. Support day-to-day shipping and logistics operations.
2. Coordinate import/export documentation and dispatch.
3. Update shipment details in systems (IFS & others).
4. Handle online pay orders and related financial processes.
5. Liaise with banks, freight forwarders, and clearing agents.
6. Maintain accurate records, reports, and compliance standards.

Requirements

1. Diploma/degree in logistics, supply chain, business or related field.
2. Minimum 1 year experience (school leavers may be considered).
3. Basic knowledge of customs procedures and documentation.
4. Proficient in MS Office (ERP knowledge is an advantage).
5. Proficient in verbal and written communication in English.
