Senior Accountant

We are a front line, pharmaceutical company representing renown manufactures, engaged in the imports, marketing and distribution of products throughout the country. We invite application for the post of senior accountant reporting directly to the managing director / CEO.

Responsibilities

1. Manage the accounting functions of the company.
2. Prepare management and final financial statements.
3. Prepare monthly cash flow statements.
4. Monitor product costing.
5. Prepare annual budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
6. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, handling tax matters and statutory requirements.
7. Liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
8. Strengthen internal controls and financial systems in the company.
9. Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making to management.
10. Lead finance team.
11. Excellent IT literacy.

Qualifications and skills

1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
2. Part or fully qualified in CA Sri Lanka / ACCA / CIMA.
3. Minimum 3 years experience in similar capacity.
4. Excellent knowledge of financial reporting including budgeting.
5. Sound knowledge and experience in handling tax matters.
6. Compitance in ERP systems.
7. Excellent analytical, leadership and communication skills.
8. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Remuneration package consist of salary above market standard and many other perks which are negotiable.
