Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented accountant to manage the all financial aspects of the hotel. Candidates in close proximity to Hikkaduwa will be preferred.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA, HND accounting or equivalent certification preferred.
2. Familiar with accounting systems (Opera, Quick Books etc.).

Requirements

1. 1 – 5 years of accounting experience in a hotel is mandatory.
2. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
3. Proficient in calculation VAT, SSCL & WHT.
4. Strong analytical, communication and reporting skills.
5. Preferred minimum age: 40

Key responsibilities

1. Prepare monthly financial statements & reports.
2. Monitor expenses, inventory, and cost control.
3. Manage accounts payable/receivable and petty cash.
