About the company

Megakem Lanka (Private) Limited, a leading manufacturer and supplier of construction chemicals in Sri Lanka and a member of Wardena Venture Holdings, is seeking a dynamic, results-driven leader to head our sales function and drive sustainable business growth.

Key responsibilities

  1. Drive market expansion across hardware and construction sectors to strengthen the company’s market presence
  2. Expand and strengthen the hardware dealer network to enhance market coverage and drive sales growth
  3. Identify and develop new business opportunities, including strategic partnerships and key client acquisition
  4. Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to consistently achieve revenue and growth targets
  5. Execute the overall sales strategy in alignment with corporate objectives and business goals
  6. Oversee sales forecasting, performance tracking, and reporting to support data-driven decision-making
  7. Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights

Requirements

  1. Degree or professional qualification in marketing, business management, or related field
  2. 7-10 years of experience, including senior-level sales leadership
  3. Technical knowledge of construction chemicals, paints, and waterproofing solutions will be considered a distinct advantage
  4. Proven track record in achieving revenue growth
  5. Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  6. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems
  7. Willingness to travel
